We are in a process of developing a new online course on 'Drugs acting on Central Nervous system'. This course is in line with our previously published online courses i.e 'General principles of Pharmacology' and 'Autonomic Pharmacology' under subcategory 'Conceptual Pharmacology'. The new course on drugs acting on central nervous system is being developed as per the curriculum prescribed by Pharmacy council of India for undergraduate students. The course will greatly help the students to understand the role of various neurotransmitters in the physiology of CNS and its disorders and the action of drugs used for the treatment of such disorders.
Like the previously published courses, this online course is also authored by referring Standard textbooks on Pharmacology. In this course the basic concepts of pharmacology of drugs acting on CNS are explained in a very lucid and easy to understand manner. The course will comprise of videos and text pages and will be accompanied by practice tests and quizzes to help the learner to check the knowledge gained and the need for revising various topics.
